Class begins at 9AM sharp. Please be a few minutes early so we can get started on time; the sooner we start, the sooner we finish!
The class is eight hours long, plus range time. It consists of two main elements:
Firearm familiarization, and legal education.
Firearm familiarization consists of blocks of instruction on safety, operation, ammunition, and marksmanship.
Legal education covers topics including the use of deadly force, and lawful carry of a firearm (who, what, where, when)
Firearm familiarization concludes with a 30-round, live-fire exercise. Pistols and ammunition will be provided for all students.
At the end of class, there will be a 20-question quiz, covering the law.

This is the class that all North Carolina residents must complete prior to submitting an application for a Concealed Carry permit.
It is the responsibility of each student to ensure they are eligible for a concealed carry permit.
